Good morning. I am trying to align a point cloud to 3 GCPs. Three points along a linear alignment. The middle point comes in great, however the two points on either end are not. There appears to be a rotational error that is not getting resolved. I measure roughly the same distance between the control points and the published coordinates, but in opposite directions. This implies to me that there should be some rotation that is not being applied to the point cloud.
Does anyone have any thoughts? I can’t even see the manual rotate option in ROCK Cloud.
I am using a localized custom coordinate system based on Illinois West State Plane.
