Launching the R3 Pro V2 mounted on the M300 RTK from a boat

We have a project upcoming that due to it’s remote access will require launching and landing from the deck of a boat to perform LiDAR scans. How well does this work or will it work at all to perform calibrations on a boat that will likely be rocking around and drifting due to the waves and tidal actions.

Hi Vashaun have done this numerous times here in Maine with 350rtk and r3prov2, the calmer waves the better but the imu seems to handle it.

i m curious to know about this. in my mind there would be issues because the starting ‘fixed’ point is not stable.
from what i have seen the rock processing is not very forgiving so i am surprised that it processed. what about the quality of the project? did you compare to control points?
