We have a job at a class D airspace airport. Do you have any tips or tricks to get approval. The flight is in the no-fly zone of this airport, but the job is for the airport itself. The airport needs us to do it but DJI has us locked down. Any thing you can help us with would be great. Or if you know someone that is in the FAA that we can contact.

Step 1: You need approval from the airport authority/Nav. A document stating you CAN fly the mission is very good to have.
Step 2: Go to DJI unlock/Fly Safe. You sign into your account,
Step 3: Find your airport. Go to custom unlock. Play 20 Questions with DJI (this is where your approval document comes in handy, your license and whatever else you have that says your “cool”).
Step 4: DJI should unlock you if you have the right stuff.
Once you are approved and at your location, with mobile wifi access,
Step 5: Turn on bird. Download your unlock license. Follow steps.
Step 6: Test fly your bird without payload. Once good, land. Attach payload.
Step 7: Rock On!
